Matrix Revolutions: Queue the rain

Filed under: Movies | 7 Comments

Saw Matrix Revolutions tonight in IMAX. With an IMAX screen, even My Big Fat Greek Wedding could be cool. The Matrix Revolutions was no exception…

I may spurt out something crazy like “Neo is Jesus!”, so if you haven’t seen it, don’t read further. If you have, join in on the party.

Neo is Jesus. There. I said it.

Now for more important things.

  • Trinity dies?! Man. I think I was even more sad than Neo.
  • Why not store an EMP back at Zion. Keep it in a closet… Might come in handy.
  • Anyone else think that the machine city looked a lot like Mordor (Lord of the Rings)?
  • Why was the trainman homeless? Can’t afford a house?
  • Monica Bellucci is really really hot.
  • I can’t wait for the DVD.

If Zion had invested all their time in getting tons of EMPs loaded up there, instead of building those stupid mech things, they’d be untouchable! They could also fly an EMP or two into that Machine City, if they felt so inclined.

I think the logic to not having EMP’s at home is that it breaks everything else, but they could have stashed some a few miles away. Kind of like an invisible wall.

You just spoiled the movie for me. I mean, “I” spoiled it for me ’cause your read more link was so tempting to click.

Yet again, the plot seems sucky, but I’ve yet to see how it is; hopefully you do not spoil it any further. Heh heh.

Ha, this movie was cool…DUH?!?! Just like any matrix movie would be. But anyway better then reloaded. The punch scene w neo and agent Smith was totally awesome i almost pissed myself.

Hello Phil, Neo lives!! I say this in regards to the machines carrying his body back to Zion…and oh yes, as Jon stated, he’s Jesus. I’d enjoy to see another movie after this, but that would defeat the purpose of a good trilogy (plus, what is “the Matrix” without Trinity?). Overall I enjoyed the movie, especially the ‘Dock War’ scene. Its a definite purchase for the DVD collection!

Full disclosure: Both “PHIL” and Steve were at the movie with me… Why they didn’t state this is beyond me.

I had another thought… Did the architect tell the truth in the last one? Seems hard to believe that they kept wiping out Zion if it really was in the real world. Maybe he’ll get his own educational series… “Big words by the architect–improve your vocab in 82 easy-steps”
