Yahoo! Local
It seems that Yahoo! has launched a local search results page to go head-to-head with Google. I read a news story on it, but it forgot to mention the URL (Note to author: when writing a story completely on a new website, mention the URL). I just guessed that it would be local.yahoo.com because it’s local.google.com. That was easy.
It works pretty well, and since Yahoo! has registration if you are logged on it already knows where you live. Pretty slick. The UI is easy to use, I love the ability to change parameters on the side.
How about the map, that’s my favorite part.
