Storm blogging

Interesting use of localized blogging here… Our local paper has a blog written by a woman (non journalist it seems) in Nassau. Since I am a cynical reader, I assume that the same copy is being given out to other Knight Ridder papers across the South, but I have not checked that out. And if you want to get technical, it’s not the actual news paper site that has the weblog, it’s the Tampa oriented portal that serves as a gateway for the paper and TV station.

Also, it’s not as much of a blog as a frequently updated page–no permalinks. But it’s great to read a local take on something big like a hurricane. Good work TBO!
