It’s chaos outside

I woke up this morning to an amazing crowd outside:

1) At the end of the street there are two polling places, both full of people waiting to vote (before work, cars parked everywhere, etc). It has calmed down now and I am about ready to walk down there.

2) Our entire street is populated by Mexican workers laying fiber optic cables. There was a man chest deep in my front yard. They work so fast–it is amazing. I would love to spend a day with them and see how it all works (from the tagging to the digging to the laying to the connecting).
