I’m a winner
The other day I got a call that I had won lunch for me and 15 friends at my favorite local pizza place. It turns out someone actually does win those business card drawings. Last night I won a free small nugget party tray from Chick Fil-A. It was online, so feel free to try yourself.
Now if I can just start winning things less food related and more cash related.
Clearly, not all freebie offers aren’t a crock. I don’t mean to rub it in, but I did once win a cash-related giveaway. A radio station here in Orlando has (had?) what they call the 5-seconds game where you name five things in the category they specify within five seconds. Fortunately, the day I tried, I got through and could easily rattle off five states that bordered Canada. In fact, I think I blurted out 7-8 of them coz I was on a roll. For this feat, I won a “crisp new $25 bill.” Nice name for a company check!
